Smartron is an Indian company mainly into IoT. It is known for t.Phone. SRT.Phone, t-Book, etc. The company came into lime light when Sachin Tendulkar invested in it. Sachin himself launched their phone. Their products are known for low cost and having good features. Recently they came out with health band called t.Band. This is the first ever health band to have heart rate, BP and ECG monitoring. It also shows fatigue and stress. The band will be available in Flipkart from May 13th at an attractive price of ₹4,999. The band works both with iOS (iPhone) and Android. One has to download the tHealth app from the app store or Play store to use the band. Regarding the reliability of the BP value displayed by the band, Mr. Rohit Rathi, President & Co-Founder of Smartron says, it is better to calibrate with the values obtained from a regular BP monitor or from the one used by your doctor. This calibration is to be done only once. The values will be applicable to the person for whom it has been calibrated which makes this as a personal device. If there are more than one person in the house whose hear rate, BP, ECG etc., have to be monitored regularly, every one has to have his/her personal device and it has to be calibrated once.
